RadioTrain Classic Golf - In support of The Western Lupus Group
Welcome to the RadioTrain Classic Golf page. Here you will find details on what the RadioTrain Classic is, how to enter the 2009 challenge and what happened on previous events.
Introduction
We have always wanted to put on an event that is fun, sociable and able to raise some money for our chosen charity, The Western Lupus Group.
The first RadioTrain Classic Golf day was held on Friday 31 August 2007 at The Bristol Golf Club in Almondsbury and, although there were only a handful of teams on that fantastic day, it was a start to something special that we mean to carry on well into the future. Click here to read the blog.
The first event raised around £200 for the charity and is a target that we beat in 2008 with a fantastic £415.
The competition
It's our own team stableford competition over 18 holes, each team comprising of four players. Teams can be made up of your company, your family and friends. You can enter as many teams as you like.
The winning team will take home the RadioTrain Classic Golf trophy and there are prizes for runners-up, third place, nearest the pin and longest drive.

Cost per team
The cost will be £200 per team (team of 4). This includes breakfast, golf, lunch, refreshments and donation to the charity. Of course, any extra donations are very welcome and sponsorship for the day and prizes are also very welcome.
